The process
What happens after a death in Myanmar
When someone dies in Myanmar, the death must be reported to the local emergency services on 199 and registered with the Ward or Township Administrator. After the documentation is in order, the body is embalmed and placed in a zinc-lined coffin for international transport, then sent to the United Arab Emirates by air cargo.
