Who we are

Repatriate Service brings home people who have died abroad, or their ashes. We arrange repatriation from any country to any country, with one point of contact for your family from the first message to the arrival home.

Why this exists

When someone dies abroad, families are left dealing with foreign bureaucracy, language barriers, and unfamiliar legal systems while grieving. Government guidance exists but it is scattered across dozens of embassy pages, country-specific PDFs, and consular contact lists.

We built this site to put the essentials in one place: the steps, the documents needed, local contacts, and the cultural context that can trip families up. When you would rather someone else made the arrangements, we do that too.

Our approach

Every country guide is researched from official sources, including GOV.UK FCDO guidance, embassy publications and the government sources of the countries involved. Where data is uncertain, we say so.

We do not make promises about outcomes or timelines we cannot control. Repatriation involves several governments, agencies and service providers. What we can do is give you a clear picture of the process and, when you ask us to, arrange it for you and send you one quote first.
