Repatriate Service

About

About our funeral repatriation guidance service.

Who we are

We are a UK-based repatriation guidance service. Our team has direct experience coordinating the return of deceased British nationals from countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

Why this exists

When someone dies abroad, families are left dealing with foreign bureaucracy, language barriers, and unfamiliar legal systems while grieving. Government guidance exists but it is scattered across dozens of embassy pages, country-specific PDFs, and consular contact lists.

We built this resource to put everything in one place: the exact steps, the documents needed, realistic cost estimates, local contacts, and the cultural context that can trip families up.

Our approach

Every country guide is researched from official sources: GOV.UK FCDO guidance, embassy publications, and verified professional contacts. Where we quote costs or timelines, we cite the source. Where data is uncertain, we say so.

We do not make promises about outcomes or timelines we cannot control. Repatriation involves multiple governments, agencies, and service providers. What we can do is give you a clear map of the process and, if you choose, coordinate the logistics on your behalf.
