An embalming certificate and hermetically sealed coffin are required for all air imports. Cremation is not available in Egypt; all repatriations must be of the full body. Authentication by the Egyptian Embassy or Consulate in the country of origin is required for all documents. (Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 2025.)
