The Sri Lankan funeral director takes custody at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) cargo terminal in Colombo. The Registrar General's Department registers the death. Ministry of Health clearance is required before final disposition. Sri Lanka is not a member of the Hague Apostille Convention; full consular authentication through the Sri Lankan High Commission or Embassy in the country of origin is required for all documents.
