Cremation is not permitted under Iraqi law. Full body repatriation is the only option.

When the body arrives in Canada
The Canadian funeral director takes custody at the cargo terminal. Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) clearance is required. The required documents are: the foreign death certificate, transit or burial permit, and embalming certificate.
