The Swiss funeral director (Bestattungsunternehmen) takes custody at Zurich (ZRH) or Geneva (GVA) cargo terminal. The local Zivilstandsamt (civil registry office) registers the death. A Bestattungsbewilligung (burial authorisation) is required before final disposition. Switzerland is a Hague Apostille Convention member.
