The Malaysian funeral director takes custody at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) cargo terminal. Malaysia Customs clearance is required. The National Registration Department (NRD) registers the death. The Ministry of Health may require clearance for final disposition. All foreign documents must be authenticated by the Malaysian Embassy or High Commission in the country of origin. Documents not in Malay or English require certified translation.
