The Rwandan funeral director takes custody at Kigali International Airport (KGL) cargo terminal. Death registration is handled by the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) civil registration directorate. Death certificates are issued in English, French, or Kinyarwanda, the three official languages of Rwanda. Rwanda joined the Hague Apostille Convention in 2019; apostille certificates from member states are accepted. Rwanda is a Commonwealth member; English is widely used in administration.
