The Belize funeral director takes custody at Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) near Belize City cargo terminal. Death registration in Belize is handled by the General Registry Office under the Ministry of Human Development. Death certificates are issued in English. Belize joined the Hague Apostille Convention in 2019; apostille certificates from member states are accepted. Belize is a Commonwealth member.
